Bug: exec tool returns empty output on Windows
OS: Windows 10.0.22631 (x64)
Node: v24.13.1
OpenClaw: 2026.2.15 (npm install, not git)
Shell: powershell
The exec tool runs commands but always returns empty output (no stdout, no stderr). No errors in logs when exec fires - it just starts and ends instantly with nothing captured.
On SIGUSR1 restart, this error appears:
Error: EBADF: bad file descriptor, write
at writeSync (node:fs:915:3)
at SyncWriteStream._write (node:internal/fs/sync_write_stream:27:5)
Tested: echo hello, node -v, cmd /c echo test, powershell -Command "Write-Output hello"
All return (no output).
PTY mode: returns SIGKILL
Gateway running in foreground (openclaw gateway) and via config.patch restart - same result both ways.
Gateway service shows: Scheduled Task installed · missing · stopped
