The Real Culprit
The slowness was NOT your machine. It was:
1. Brave Search API rate limiting β I'm on a free tier, got 429'd (rate limited)
2. web_fetch gateway disconnects β OpenClaw's fetch proxy was dropping connections intermittently
3. Browser tool gateway errors β same websocket disconnection issue
Basically: network/API layer issues, not compute.
