iOS node app (preview/TestFlight) for location + node pairing
Hi I’m running the Gateway on a VPS (loopback-only) and use Telegram as my primary channel. I want to enable location access for an agent so it can fetch my current location from my iPhone and compute distance to nearby places (e.g., Store A).
From the docs, the iOS node app exists but is “internal preview.” Does that mean is completely closed right now? or could I join any preview/TestFlight program if available.
What I’m trying to do:
- Pair an iOS node to my gateway
- Enable location permissions (While Using / Always)
- Use location.get via the node to supply coordinates to an agent
Environment:
- Gateway: Linux VPS, loopback bind
- Access: Tailscale for admin
- Channels: Telegram
- Goal: agent can get location and compute distance to nearby places
Questions:
1) Is there a public TestFlight or preview build I can access?
2) If not, is there an application process for the iOS node preview?
3) Any recommended alternatives on iPhone while this is in preview?
