How to use Supabase cost effectively

What's the most cost effective way to use supabase or how do you guys use it in a cost effective way. Since the Free tier only provides 2 projects and a paid organization has to pay for every active project, including the ones that were Free before.
Only just realized how expensive Supabase can get if you just want to launch MVPs for ideas you're playing with.
Any solid alternatives you can recommend.
I do like Supabase, it's overall extremely easy to use... But for the amount of projects I want to build this year it's probably going to be a little too expensive (unless I completely miss using Supabase)
