Trouble branching

I want to work on a supabase branch. However when i try to link it to my github branch it says unable to find branch in "my repo" but i know for a fact that branch exists. I also tried creating a new branch to see if it connects to that one but still the same issue. I already worked with branching before and it worked well, i don't know why this problem is popping up now. I already checked that its the right repository and the branch name is the same.
