Slack Socket Mode crashes immediately on startup — Cannot read properties of undefined
Hi, running OpenClaw 2026.2.19-2 on Ubuntu (AWS
EC2). Slack Socket Mode is configured correctly
(tokens valid, app token has connections:write
scope) but crashes instantly every time it
tries to start.
Error from logs:
It retries with exponential backoff but crashes
the same way every attempt. The gateway status
page shows "Running: No" with that error. Tried
regenerating the app token — no change. Updated
to latest version — no change.
Config: Socket Mode, bot token + app token,
groupPolicy: allowlist, Ubuntu 22.04, Node
v22.22.0.
Any idea what's causing this or a workaround?
