Solution

That PowerShell line is just telling you: npm failed with ENOENT (“can’t find a file/program”). The important part is usually a few lines below that, like:

-

npm ERR! syscall spawn git

npm ERR! syscall spawn git

(most common on Windows → Git not installed / not on PATH)
- or it’ll name some other missing executable/path

Can you paste the full npm error block, especially any lines that start with

npm ERR!

npm ERR!

and mention

syscall

syscall

spawn

spawn

path

path

, or

errno

errno

?

In the meantime, quick checks in a new PowerShell window:

node -v
npm -v
where.exe node
where.exe npm
where.exe git
git --version

node -v
npm -v
where.exe node
where.exe npm
where.exe git
git --version
