gateway closed (1008): unauthorized: device token mismatch (rotate/reissue device token)
Hey group,
So I ran into this earlier this morning and I have been trying everything. I run my server on AWS for now. I have looked into every possible help article including the help on here. I CANNOT get this to fix. I cannot get it to reissue a token. I have done just about every command that all of these posts claim work.
I am not a slouch when it comes to tech but this one is testing my patience. I could really use someone that is skilled in the ways of the Openclaw Jedi. I have scheduled functions running on this box that are still going but I cannot get into the interface or any of my telegram agents to assist.
Anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate
Background:
- All of my agents run on telegram backend.
- I updated late last night to OpenClaw 2026.2.19-2.
- Was working fine up until about 4 hours ago and then this started happening.
- At that time I was having the main agent work with the other agents and then they all stopped
- I have a sinking suspicion that he made some possible change to the config file that dorked everything up
- I have tried to pull a backup of the file from last night (snapshot at 6pm) and compare it but there were only a few things that were different, and not anything critical
