Telegram Integration with Multiple Sub-Agents & Group Routing – Best Practice in OpenClaw?

I recently watched a YouTube video where someone built an AI agency with multiple sub-agents, and each sub-agent was writing to its own Telegram channel.
I tried to replicate this setup. My agent suggested that I:
-Create a Telegram group
-Add the bot I have setup for OpenClaw to that group
-Retrieve the group ID
-Use that ID for specific messages (e.g., Cron job error logs)
So now I have:
-One chat ID for the direct bot chat (main chat)
-One chat ID for a Telegram group where logs should go
However, the bot keeps sending all Cron job log messages to the main chat instead of the group. It has already tried several approaches, but the log messages still don’t route correctly to the group.
My questions:
-What is the correct way to ensure that specific messages (e.g., Cron job logs) are sent only to a specific Telegram group?
-Can this be extended to multiple groups, if yes, how?
-Or do I need a separate Telegram bot per agent and per chat?
-Is it possible (and recommended) to have multiple agents inside the same Telegram group (e.g., a “Project Research” group) and address them collectively so they can interact with each other? Or Is there a standard or recommended architecture for handling multi-agent → multi-chat routing in the default OpenClaw Telegram integration?

Solution
You’ve got the mental model right now: bindings only affect inbound (which agent handles a message from a peer). For cron, if you don’t explicitly tell it where to deliver, it will often fall back to the agent’s “last route” (which for you is the main DM) — so you get “spill” into the wrong chat.
Preferred pattern: isolated cron job + explicit
