I want to setup gemini models with vertex API, how can I set up?

4) The #1 VPS pitfall: gateway user mismatch

If you installed OpenClaw as a service, it might be running as

root

root

(or another user), but you did gcloud login as

ubuntu

ubuntu

(or similar). In that case the ADC file lives in the wrong home dir.

If you tell me how you’re running the gateway on the VPS (Docker? systemd service?

openclaw gateway start

openclaw gateway start

in a shell) + what user it runs under, I can tell you exactly where the creds need to live / what to mount.
