Problem: Fresh install of OpenClaw seems to be incomplete/corrupted. The
System: macOS
What we've tried so far:
- Restarting the gateway (
- Reinstalling the gateway service (
- Forcing a service restart (
- Manually killing stray gateway processes (
- Forcing an update of the Chrome extension (
- Completely reinstalling the Chrome extension via drag-and-drop.
- A full, clean reinstall of OpenClaw itself (
After all of these steps, the command
browser-relaySystem: macOS
What we've tried so far:

openclaw gateway install- Forcing a service restart (
launchctl bootoutrestart- Manually killing stray gateway processes (
kill <pid>- Forcing an update of the Chrome extension (
chrome://extensions- Completely reinstalling the Chrome extension via drag-and-drop.
- A full, clean reinstall of OpenClaw itself (
npm uninstall -g openclawnpm install -g openclawAfter all of these steps, the command
open $(npm root -g)/openclaw/dist/browser-relay
