model_not_found 404 for claude-sonnet-4-6 / claude-opus-4-6 with Claude Max OAuth token
Hey! I'm running OpenClaw 2026.2.22-2 on Linux and all Anthropic requests are failing with:
All models failed (2): anthropic/claude-opus-4-6: HTTP 404 not_found_error: Not Found
(model_not_found) | anthropic/claude-sonnet-4-6: No available auth profile (all in
cooldown). (model_not_found)
Setup:
- Auth token is a Claude Max OAuth token (sk-ant-oat01-...) obtained via openclaw models

- Token is confirmed working โ direct curl with Authorization: Bearer + anthropic-beta:
oauth-2025-04-20,claude-code-20250219 headers returns a valid response
- Both auth-profiles.json and models.json for the jarvis agent have the correct
sk-ant-oat01-... token
What I believe is happening:
The 404 means Anthropic is receiving the request but the anthropic-beta: oauth-2025-04-20
header is missing โ which is required for Claude Max OAuth tokens to access the 4.6 models.
OpenClaw's isAnthropicOAuthApiKey() should detect the sk-ant-oat prefix and add the OAuth
betas, but something in the token resolution path seems to be passing an empty or non-OAuth
key to the stream call instead.
Question: Has anyone successfully used a setup-token with claude-opus-4-6 /
claude-sonnet-4-6? Is there anything specific needed in the agent config to ensure the
OAuth token gets picked up correctly (e.g. a specific auth.json format, env var, or config
field)?
