Chrome Relay Connection Issue

I am experiencing a persistent issue with OpenClaw Browser Relay for Chrome. OpenClaw is unable to consistently control my Chrome tabs, despite the Gateway running (openclaw gateway status shows running, RPC probe: ok) and the extension's options page confirming Relay reachable at http://127.0.0.1:18792/.
When I attach a Chrome tab (e.g., YouTube) by clicking the extension icon, it briefly shows "ON" status, and I see a "debugging started" message. However, OpenClaw consistently returns "Error: Chrome extension relay is running, but no tab is connected" when I try to use the browser tool.
This issue has persisted for approximately 8 hours, and I've tried restarting the Gateway and re-attaching tabs. This feature worked previously, but issues arose after a system downgrade (current OpenClaw version: 2026.2.22-2, Browser Relay extension version: 1.0).
Could you please advise on a definitive solution for this connectivity problem?
