Using QMD memory on a VPS
I spent the last few days learning about the different ways you could set up the memory (sqlite, qmd, supermemory.ai, etc).
I decided to go with QMD, but after I spent a ton of time setting it up properly, my OpenClaw told me that my server needs a GPU to run the vector embedding models. But since my server only has a CPU, it suggested I brick the QMD memory by limiting it to text-only search. Otherwise, I should revert to the default OC memory.
QUESTION: Has anyone successfully configured the memory to be QMD but on a VPS? Did you need a GPU?
(I'm using a Hetzner cx33 server based in Europe because it's so cheap. ~$6/mo)
