Unable to Connect Normal WhatsApp to Hostinger OpenClaw (QR Login Fails)
Hi everyone,
I'm running a self-hosted OpenClaw instance on Hostinger.
Version: 2026.2.19
I'm facing an issue when trying to connect a normal WhatsApp account by scanning the QR code.
What happens:
I scan the QR code successfully.
It shows "Logging in..." for about 1β2 minutes.
Then it fails with:
"Couldn't log in. Check your phone's internet connection and scan the QR code again."
Important detail:
WhatsApp Business connects successfully.
The issue only happens with normal WhatsApp.
Environment:
Hosted on Hostinger VPS
Stable internet connection on phone
Tried rescanning multiple times
Logged out from linked devices before retrying
Has anyone experienced this issue with normal WhatsApp accounts on OpenClaw?
Is there any known limitation or configuration needed for non-Business WhatsApp?
Would appreciate any guidance
