I'm encountering an issue where my OpenClaw Telegram bot is not responding to messages in a group chat, even when explicitly mentioned.
Here's a summary of what I've already checked and the current situation:
1. BotFather Settings:
β’ /setprivacy is DISABLED (meaning the bot is configured to receive all messages in groups).
β’ /setjoingroups is ENABLED (bot is allowed to join groups).
β’ The bot is not an inline bot.
β’ The bot is set as an admin in the target group chat.
2. OpenClaw Internal Configuration:
β’ I've confirmed that the Telegram channel's groupPolicy is set to "open" in OpenClaw's configuration, intending to allow all group messages.
β’ The Gateway has been fully restarted after these configuration changes.
3. Observed Behavior:
β’ When I send a message in the group chat and explicitly mention my bot (e.g., @OC_Teleg_bot hello), the bot still does not respond.
β’ The OpenClaw logs consistently show the following error for these messages:
