Riley bee petal quests not working for beta (Not sure abt bucko)

I had a riley bee quest, not crazy reqs, just 20 red petals in clover to complete my quest. but for some reason it has been using the "stationary" pattern to collect these. This makes no sense because im not collecting any petals??? its been like this for hours and not only am i making no honey, but its getting no petals for the quest
