Hiding "Reasoning:" prefix from Discord messages
Running 2026.2.22-2, local mode, Anthropic provider (Claude Sonnet 4.5 / Haiku 4.5). When thinking is enabled, the reasoning block gets sent as a visible message before the actual response. I want thinking to stay active but only show the final answer.
What I've tried:
openclaw config set agents.defaults.verboseDefault off — saves but no effect after gateway restart
openclaw config set agents.list.0.verboseDefault off — rejected as unrecognized key
/think:off in Discord — "not authorized"
AGENTS.md rules telling the agent not to show reasoning — doesn't work, OpenClaw is displaying the thinking block
Streaming is off. What's the correct way to suppress reasoning display?
