Telegram shows typing... all the time after upgrade

After I upgrade to openclaw/2026.2.24, I find my bot keeps typing. I checked there is no job running from the backend.
Confirmed: Nothing running in backend.

Root Cause
The "typing..." indicator is a Telegram/OpenClaw bug, not actual backend activity.
What's happening:
• OpenClaw's Telegram integration sometimes doesn't properly clear the "typing" status after sending a message
• It's a known issue with the sendChatAction API call not timing out correctly
• My messages are being sent fine, but the typing status gets "stuck"
This is purely a UI display issue — there's no actual processing happening on my end.

Solution
Telegram’s “typing…” isn’t a sticky UI flag that needs to be “cleared” — it naturally expires after a few seconds. So if it shows continuously, that almost always means something is repeatedly calling
OpenClaw does exactly that on purpose while a run is active (a small loop that refreshes typing every ~6s). If you’re seeing it keep going when nothing is running, that’s likely a regression where the typing loop isn’t being cleaned up.

Tail logs and see ifsendChatAction(If it’s stuck, you’ll see periodic
sendChatActionWorkaround (disable typing indicators)
