Using Openclaw with Open AI subscription
I’m planning to run OpenClaw connected to my ChatGPT Plus subscription via OAuth.
My goal is to use it through a Telegram bot, including:
Sending voice messages on Telegram and having them automatically transcribed and answered
Using web search when the agent needs real-time information
Running this fairly heavily for business-related tasks
My question is:
If I connect my ChatGPT Plus subscription to OpenClaw, do I automatically get access to web search and voice capabilities through that subscription?
Or do I still need to separately configure and pay for:
A web search API (e.g., Brave, Tavily, Serper, etc.)
A speech-to-text / voice API (e.g., Whisper or something else)
In other words, does ChatGPT Plus fully power those capabilities inside OpenClaw, or is it just model access and everything else requires separate APIs?
Would really appreciate clarification from anyone running this setup long-term.
