Openclaw breaking itself
I have been letting openclaw run operations on itself in the past few days, one example is the security audit but its not only limited to this, and i found 2 main issues:
- everytime openclaw runs a restart (gateway restart) on itself the session is cutoff and i need to re-awaken it by sending a message so that it can continue (this isnt a major problem but still annoying)
- the new configuration might have problems that break the new agent, at this point im left with the only option of debugging on my own and trying to restore it
During the security audit for example it enabled sandboxing without verifying that docker was installed, which made any request after the restart fail
is there any guidance on how to tell openclaw about a safer way to approach these type of actions? i have been thinking some kind of blue/green deployment with session handoff (old instance sends a message to the new one once it confirmed its working before shutting itself down) this would solve both issues but maybe im overthinking it
