Every Update...

Every single Update, I do with openclaw, my Agent cant do the update, cause the install is in /user/.openclaw
When i complete the update, it doesnt update in /user/.openclaw, and wont even let the agents update, cause it needs Sudo, but once i do the update it udpates in /root, which causes permissions issues, duel brain issues, MD file issues, and all sorts of stuff. I dont want openclaw running as Root. This also ALWAYS deletes my Systemd file making it nearly impossible to boot, and after Every Single Update i have to troubleshoot for 30 50 min just to get it partially working, so my agent can fix it. How can i stop the update script from running as ROOT, and make it run in the place where OpenClaw is actually installed...

You’re not doing anything “wrong” — your machine is set up so global npm installs live under
Also: the
/usrnpm i -g openclaw@latestsudo/root/.openclawAlso: the
WARNING:root:could not open file ...nvmFast fix (no nvm): move global npm installs to your home dir
