openclaw works via discord DM but is unable to switch to channel on a server

My OpenClaw called Steupi is on a Ubuntu-VM. We do chat via DM on Discord.
I sent him Server ID and Channel ID so we can switch our conversation, but he is unable to respond in the Channel.
