Dummy question about preloading & caching

Hey folks, need some help understanding how preloading interacts with route loaders that load via a

CreateServerFn

. I've got a route that fetches from a Strapi CMS. Caching works fine as configured on the

createFileRoute()

via the headers, but I notice that preloading via

<Link/>

<Link/>

doesn't hit that same cache. In fact, it always misses any cache and persists short enough that hovering over the buttons can send a lot of subsequent requests to the CMS (much shorter than the presumed default 30 seconds?).

I imagine this preloading happens only on the client, and thus circumvents the route loader's set headers, but I'm not sure I understand correctly. What's the recommended approach to get this caching as well? Would rather keep preloading on!
