I don't use anthropic, so not sure why I am getting this error.
Agent failed before reply: No API key found for provider "anthropic". Auth store: /home/node/.openclaw/agents/main/agent/auth-profiles.json (agentDir: /home/node/.openclaw/agents/main/agent). Configure auth for this agent (openclaw agents add <id>) or copy auth-profiles.json from the main agentDir.
Logs: openclaw logs --follow

Solution
That error usually doesn’t mean “you chose Anthropic on purpose” — it means your current default model (or a fallback / alias you used) resolves to an Anthropic model, so OpenClaw tries provider
Two common ways this happens:
- Your config has
