Issues regarding sprinkler placement and maybe? something wrong with movement

First issue: Whenever I use any pattern, the sprinklers place in a weird completely unwanted spot, even when I paste the ideal settings or change them myself, they always remain in an L shape rarely even touching the flowers that the pattern uses
Second issue: this mainly occurs in the cactus field where I use the tacticaltortoisedefenseV2 pattern, it always moves somewhere weird and I end up dying to the cave monsters cause I end up there somehow
