Workspace template management in multi-agent setups?

I run 6 agents (1 + 5 sub-agents) with managed workspace templates (SOUL.md, TOOLS.md, IDENTITY.md etc.) in a central Git repo. Currently, after updating templates and pushing to Git, we have to manually copy them to each agent's workspace (~/.openclaw/workspace-<agent>/).
Is there a built-in way to auto-sync workspace files from an external source (e.g. a Git repo or a shared directory)? Something like agents.defaults.workspaceSync or a hook that pulls workspace updates on gateway restart?
We're considering adding a deploy step to our existing sync timer (rsync from repo → workspace dirs), but wanted to check if there's a native approach we're missing before building custom tooling.
Running v2026.2.26, skipBootstrap: true is set, workspaces are Git-initialized.
