OpenClaw Discord bot setup
Hello! I'm having an issue with my OpenClaw Discord bot setup. Here's my situation:
Setup Status:
OpenClaw TUI is running correctly
Bot is online in Discord (shows as "Online" in member list)
Gateway shows "connected | idle" in TUI
All Discord intents are ENABLED (Message Content, Server Members, Presence)
Bot permissions are configured (Send Messages, Read Messages, etc.)
The Problem:
Bot goes online but DOES NOT respond to messages
No activity in TUI terminal when I send Discord messages
Messages don't appear to reach the bot
What I've tried:
- Enabled all Discord bot intents
- Reset the bot token
- Re-invited the bot to the server
- Verified channel permissions
- Tested with @mention and regular messages
- Restarted OpenClaw multiple times
The bot is definitely online and the TUI is working perfectly, but the Discord connection seems one-way. Anyone have ideas on what could be blocking the message reception?
