Important caveats
- BYOK setup (Vertex service account JSON, “always use this key”, etc.) is done in OpenRouter, not in OpenClaw.- If Vertex can’t serve that exact model (or your key is out of quota), OpenRouter will fallback (unless you disable fallback in OpenRouter settings).
