Setting up OpenClaw
Hey everyone! 
I’d really appreciate some guidance from the community. I’m quite new to this and have been trying to set up OpenClaw based on some YouTube tutorials, feeding it context about me and my business. My goal is to set up a main orchestrator agent to manage several specialized sub-agents.
Currently, I'm using the Google AI Studio API (Gemini 3.0 Flash and 2.5 Pro). However, I constantly hit rate limits and high-demand errors, which completely stalls my workflow.
I was considering switching to Anthropic's new Claude Max plan to get a fixed monthly price instead of unpredictable API bills (and because Claude is great for my coding tasks). However, I’ve heard that Anthropic is actively banning Max plan users for excessive automated usage or for trying to run it through OpenClaw.
My questions for you all:
Connecting Claude: Is there a safe, TOS-compliant way to connect a Claude Max subscription to OpenClaw? Or do I absolutely have to stick to the pay-as-you-go API to avoid getting banned?
Architecture & API Limits: I heavily suspect I am not setting up my orchestrator and sub-agents efficiently, which is why I'm burning through API limits so fast. Does anyone have recommendations for solid documentation, GitHub repos, or videos that explain how to structure this properly to minimize token usage?
I'm sure you guys see these beginner questions every day, so I highly appreciate your patience and help.
