OpenClaw 2026.3.2 ubuntu Install

Hitting a wall installing OpenClaw on a fresh Proxmox VM (Ubuntu Server).
This one line install setup worked for me last week, but today I can’t get it to complete the install cleanly / keep the gateway running as a service.
What works:
Installer runs
Onboarding runs
Config gets written to ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json
NVIDIA endpoint detects as OpenAI-compatible after I set the model ID (I’m using https://integrate.api.nvidia.com/v1 + model like qwen/qwen3.5-397b-a17b)
Skills install + hooks enable
Where it fails (end of QuickStart):
Enabled systemd lingering for <user>.
QuickStart uses Node for the Gateway service...
Error: systemctl is-enabled unavailable: Command failed:
systemctl --user is-enabled openclaw-gateway.service
So it seems like systemd user services / user bus isn’t available from this environment (I’m doing the install over SSH on a minimal server VM).
