Im working on connecting my open claw to rube so I can control my meta ads through telegram
Hey folks — I’m trying to set up OpenClaw + Rube MCP so my assistant can monitor and (eventually) manage my Meta ad accounts from chat.
What I want
• Connect OpenClaw to https://rube.app/mcp
• Authenticate correctly
• Confirm available Rube/Meta tools are visible in OpenClaw
• Start with read-only ad account reporting (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPA, ROAS)
• Then move to limited write controls with guardrails (budget caps, no destructive actions without confirmation)
Current status
• I have a Rube token
• I have the MCP endpoint
• Need the correct OpenClaw MCP config + validation flow (best-practice way)

1. What is the exact recommended MCP config format for OpenClaw (headers/auth, transport)?
2. How do I verify the MCP server is connected and tools are loaded?
3. Any known gotchas with Rube + Meta ad account permissions/scopes?
