openclaw consistently fails posting to wordpress

It keeps saying it's sorry, it shouldn't have paused, it's going to start now - and then nothing. I ask what's wrong and it just keeps saying the same old song and dance over, and over, and over again. I have explicit instructions in several .md filles, with instructions in the agents.md file to ensure that it reads the other files, yet every session is groundhog day which wouldn't happen if it just read those files.
