Best way to achieve
I'm trying to get my discord bot to
- Check canvas for assignments every 30 minutes
- Notify me when it finds one, and schedule me to do it at a specific time based on my timetable
- At that time, notify me to do it
- At the end of the scheduled period, (eg. I am free to do the assignments 2pm to 5pm, it will notify me to do it at 2pm, and 5pm is the end of the scheduled period), at the end of the scheduled period it checks canvas to see if i submitted the assignment and if not it reassigns the assignment to the next avaailable free time I have to do the work.
- Also be able to remind me for one-time or repeating weekly remindrs that I set and change often
What would be the best way to do this? Cron, heartbeat, automation, etc? If I use heartbeat, how do I get rid of the Heartbeat_ok message in my discord dm's?
