send emails from WhatsApp or Telegram
I'm trying to set up OpenClaw so I can send emails directly from WhatsApp or Telegram without getting an approval prompt every time the agent runs the email command.
My setup:
- OpenClaw 2026.3.2 running headless on Linux (containerized, no companion app)
- Email via Nylas CLI (or similar)
- Channels: WhatsApp and Telegram
- No macOS app or Control UI available to click approval prompts
What I've tried:
- Setting security: "full" and ask: "off" in exec-approvals.json
- Setting agents.defaults.sandbox.mode: "off"
- Pre-approving the nylas binary path in the allowlist
- autoAllowSkills: true
Despite this, exec commands from Telegram/WhatsApp sessions still generate approval requests that time out after ~120 seconds because there's no UI to resolve them from those channels. I've seen issue #26739 and #26496 which seem related.
