Whatsapp messaging ingestion

Hi Krill, i have 25 users on whatsapp into one Openclaw agent on 2026.3.2. When users interact with the agent directly how are those conversations built into long term memory automatically, and for group whatsapp discussions where the agent is included but not referenced, how can we ingest all these whatsapp messages automaticaly into memory without burning endless tokens

By default, OpenClaw does not automatically turn “everything users said” into long‑term memory.

3) If you want automatic capture (without an LLM call per message)
Enable the bundled Memory (LanceDB) plugin and turn on autoCapture. It stores “memories” via embeddings (typically much cheaper than full chat completions).- Set
