Codex 5.4 and 5.3 issues
Trying to figure out why my claws are useless when using codex via token. I have the max plan over there.
5.3 requests basically spin out. According to alfred, whenever him and the other agents try to use 5.3, it fails at tool calling and they just end up in some sort of loop. The behavior observed is some sort of response along the lines of "I'm doing this right now and I'll get back to you!" Then they do nothing.
I've tried forcing them on to 5.4, updated to the latest version of claw, still nothing. If I'm lucky, I might get one intelligent response followed by more gas lighting.
They don't exhibit the same behavior on opus, where they are more helpful.
It's a mixed bag with Sonnet.
This also correlates with my attempts to introduce qmd because memory was getting incredibly bloated and burning through Opus credits like a bonfire.
