For context, I'm fairly new to PHP/Laravel and Filament, but not new to programming or the web in general.
I'm building a custom CRM for the automotive space, starting with one client as the guinea pigs, let's say. I've already made a good start, but wanted to get some general advice, so a few questions:
Any potential gotchas to watch out for, Filament-wise or even Laravel-specific?
What packages would you gravitate to, if any?
Where would you lean into Filament's default components/layouts VS dropping into custom Livewire/Blade views?
Any Filament best practices that someone new to it might miss and end up reinventing the wheel on?
Have you built a CRM before and run into anything you didn't anticipate which turned out to be critical?
I could obviously ask AI, but I think real experts with experience are much more valuable, so I'd love to hear some people's thoughts.
