Admin subdirectory not working in production on forge but works fine locally.

I have my admin as a sub domain like admin.domain.com and the public app is at domain.com
Everything works fine on my local machine. When I launched it on forge I noticed the admin.domain.com is taking me to the normal login site.
No idea why.
In forge I have domain.com registered and admin.domain.com
env settings look fine. I can't figure it out.

Solution
No idea how, but did another deploy and it fixed the issue. I didn't change a thing.
