Immich Kiosk timing out when using cloudflare tunnel

Hello! I have Immich set up through TrueNas apps and I have Immich Kiosk set up through the portainer TrueNas app. Both of these are running through a cloudflare tunnel so other people not in my household can access it.
Both of these apps were previously working without an issue through cloudflare, but recently kiosk keeps disconnecting after 5 seconds. I can reload the page and it'll show a new image, but no matter what it'll time out. It works fine when accessing it through the local IP address on the same network or through tailscale.
Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening? I figured it had something to do with the cloudflare tunnel. I tried deleting and reinstalling kiosk but the same issue happens. Both apps have been updated to the latest version.
The behind_proxy setting on immich kiosk is set to true and the disable_url_queries and disable_config_enpoitn settings are set to false. Thanks in advance for the help!
