Help With Word Problems

I've never really been a person to understand word problems to the fullest and every website I learn C# on seems to be very heavy into them. Whenever I can't understand it and am stuck for a long period of time, I feel terrible when looking at the solution and realizing the solution was very simple. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to understand them better, or tips on how to not feel bad when looking at a solution (to learn, not just to look at and finish the challenge.)
