Backup/Restore Issues

I tried to interact with this thread and it was closed before I could get mine fixed. It doesn't matter what version I am on, if I have the system do automatic backups or if I trigger one manually, when I try to restore on a new instance (because I am trying to move to a different host), it always fails saying that the "role" doesn't exist.
