backing up player file pls help

When playing online with friends, every time I enter the game and stay for a while, it will directly flash back and exit, showing "Backing up player file". it happenes to me and my friend. What could be the reason for this?

Help with TModLoader change from the github version to steam

I was playing TModLoader a while back from the github version beacuse I had the game with family share, that lets you start the game from the files that opens Terraria as TModLoader with the cmd stuff. Now I bought the game from steam and I want to play TModLoader but it still counts as the github version with my mods and old world so I'm running Terraria and TModLoader at the same time. stellar tune

Im trying to replicate the stellar tune but on the wiki the only projectile it creates is the guitar holdout and Projectile.CloneID doesn't spawn the projectile, is the projectile just like a visual effect that does damage when it touches an enemy?

Some of my mods are missing

I last played the game in 2024 and decided to open it again and download a few new mods but I noticed that they didn't appear or that some mods were missing like Calamity Infernum or Wrath of The Gods, I didn't have this problem before and I don't really know which version caused it but it does say that it's a pathing issue maybe caused by the drive I use it with.

All weapons say melee damage

Every single weapon says that it does melee damage. It seems to only be a visual bug, but i messes with for example magic storage. Weapons from other mods stayed the same. It all happened out of nowhere randomly when i logged on today. Would be really thankfull if someone had a solution for it.

Worlds going down in difficulty every time I load up and calamity isn't loading

So everytime I start up the game it works and then I go to single player I choose a character and then it says that all my worlds have gone down from revengence to expert, then I reload the game and my computer once I get back in to the worlds it says theve been all lowered to normal difficulty and still cant open them

Server Won't Load

MacOS Low Framerate

Hello! My laptop is an M2 MacBook Air, and I am trying to play tmodloader through Steam. I have put the argument /gldevice:Vulkan in my launch options. Regardless, the game performs poorly, and it is fragile and prone to crash. Any suggestions to bring up the frames and stability?
