need help finding this anime

the cover art for it was a lone girl sitting on top of a dilapidated high rise building overlooking a city that's been abandoned. all the buildings have plants growing all over them. i saw one episode back in like 2015/2016 where it was the girl just surviving in her building all alone. i think she was drying clothes on a clothesline on the roof at some point. something tells me there's a robot involved but i can't recall for sure. i never saw the whole thing. i only saw a few minutes of episode...
