Double zipper, full zip sweater
Hi all,
I’ve got this vision for full zip knit, with a high collar, and double zips. This one from stussy is VERY close but my dream would be to have a higher neck so that the collar splays out a little more when not fully zipped up. If you can think of such a thing please lmk.

Engineer boot brands to look out for?
Setting up some eBay filters to find some second hand engineer boots for riding my motorcycle and true hog ridin cosplay. Any brands I should look out for?
Left Field NYC Workshirt Sizing
Does anyone have any experience with the sizing of Left Field NYC workshirts? I was looking at the Kerry Woolen Mills shirts but I’m having trouble deciding between the L and XL. Do these workshirts typically run small, true to size, or large? Thanks!

Suggest me ways to style this piece

Boxy t-shirts?
I know this question has been asked several times, but none of the recommendations quite fit what I'm looking for. I'm after a boxy t-shirt with a fit sort of like this--loose in the torso without massive sleeves.
Specifically looking for cotton, linen, merino, or other natural fibers--I liked the look of Uniqlo's Airism shirts, but I can't stand the material.
Budget is ideally less than $35, but a bit flexible. Living in northeast USA, and I'd definitely prefer any options from stores with physical presences around here but am open to ordering online :)...
Could anyone recommend a slim fit ribbed wool turtleneck?
I’m looking for anything between the budget of $50-150. I don’t want anything too lightweight but just a solid wool ribbed turtleneck that kinda hugs my torso

Is there a difference in design in gendered leather shoes?
Hey, so I was looking into getting my first pair of loafers/mocs but I have small feet that are below retail men's sizes.
So, on the very basic designs without heels, are they unisex or is there some secret shoe rule?
Below are some example images I found of shoes on women's stores that looked fairly unisex to me....
Opinion on new purchases
Hey! I will soon be joining my first corporate role and hence wanted to make some purchases online. I am wanted to advice and opinion on what I plan to wear. I am looking to put up a formal shirt with chinos and plain white sneakers and have short listed the following.
Would this look good, given that I am thinly built.
I am planning on shirts like image 1 and 2 alongside chinos in image 3 and 4. I wanted advice on the color combination and if these actually go well. Additionally, would dress pants make more sense or the chinos given that I plan to dress them alongside sneakers....
Feedback on this pair of Bridlen chelsea boot?
Hi folks,
After my earlier questions on chelsea boots - I settled on getting one from Bridlen. I provided them with my dimensions and they suggested the Yama last pair (https://bridlen.com/products/copy-of-chelsea-boot-goodyear-welted)
I got my sizing trial pair of them today - any initial thoughts on the appearance/shape? (Note: I'll be getting the final pair in black )...
Finding a genuinely good tailor
Simple question: Any suggestions on how to approach this beyond the usual yelp/Google reviews, ask people, etc.?
Likely a function of living in US flyover country, but I am finding it remarkably hard to find tailors who genuinely know their trade. Maybe I'm asking too much but I was hoping to find a tailor with some vague idea of how clothes "should" fit that can help me figure out the best approach.
Any secrets to finding good ones beyond trial and error? I keep hoping I'll stumble across the mystical "100 year old Italian man who hand stitched troop uniforms in WW2" that I can go to and just say "make this fit" and have him work his magic. Instead, I'm finding even simple pants hems get messed up because I didnt think to specify "Please trim the fabric or at least match the thread to the pant color so I don't look like I have cuffs halfway up my calf." Is this where I am or is this just reality now and tailoring is a mostly dead trade unless you are in NYC/London/etc.?...
Self-tailored clothes:
Hello. A character of mine is an amateur tailor and designer who makes his own clothes, and I want to know what fashionable self-made fashion looks like. What are some fashion faux-pas to avoid? If the character's 6 "6 and muscular, how should the suit fit him?
fit advice on new loafers
After getting advice here, I ended up ordering my first pair of loafers from Rancourt way back in July, and they arrived today. My Brannock size is about 8.7EE, and I got 8EE loafers (their size guide gave me 8E, I went wider). But I'm not that happy with the fit and I'm considering returning them:
1. The main problem is that my toes are squeezed too much together. I don't know if I'd call it pain, but particularly on one side, it's quite uncomfortable. I don't want to wear it on that foot at all much less for hours. I have large toes with my outer two not being that much smaller than the middle ones, which is hard to fit into a sizing schema. However, this discomfort might just be how conventional leather shoes are not being foot shaped, I'm not used to wearing them - nowadays, I wear boots and sneakers sized a half size or more up. Do I have to just get used to this? Or decide not to wear leather shoes.
2. The heels are quite loose, they slip halfway or more out of the shoe when I walk - while wearing American Trench socks, I'd otherwise wear no-shows I assume. Is this normal? Would I be able to do something about this with inserts on the side? Note: This is despite the heel width being D on their EE shoes. So I have narrow or at least not wide heels.
3. They unexpectedly are on the long side, there's more than my thumb's width in front of my big toe. Which I've heard of being fine for boots but idk about loafers. This doesn't cause them to move lengthwise because they are quite snug at the ball of my feet, so perhaps a non-issue. Btw this suggests sizing up is not an option....
Pant rise discussion
I’ll make this short but have a question regarding pant rise as it’s surprising to my gf that I can’t just “feel” where a pair of pants is suppose to sit.
It makes sense to me that regardless of rise, manufacturers would want rear/side pockets to sit in relatively the same position for ease of use. This would mean that the “rise” would be in added material above the pockets, no? And then the rest of the plant shape would help the pants naturally sit where they’re intended.
Basically, I haven’t found a single pair of pants that naturally sits at my actual waist or slightly below my belly button. I can pull them up of course but they don’t stay there regardless of a belt (unless I crank it down uncomfortably tight). I do, honestly, find this quite uncomfortable but I also don’t know if I’ve tried/bought true higher rise pants so I’m not sure if that’s even a fair comfort-check....

Is this sport coat too big?
I’ve never really worn sport coats before, so I don’t totally know how they’re supposed to fit. I bought one off eBay using my measurements, but I’m wondering if it’s still a little too big
