I have a specific question about how you manage postgres connexions and out of memory. If one connection eats too much memory, more than provisioned, how does neon reacts ? 1. Does it kill postgres postmaster processes and postgres need restart 2. It kills the process related to the connexion only, so the request fails but postgres does not need a restart 3. Other ?...

I am trying to connect to my database in a google apps script so i can import and regularly update my tables in google sheets. I cannot figure out out to set up a connection that works. I tried setting up a looker data source using the instructions provided in other posts too but that would not work either. Please help

In the SQL Editor, RUN is disabled, if the SQL contains comments. Also, I have several CREATE TABLE commands I would like executed. It looks like I need to select each one and run one at a time. I cannot just select the entire SQL and press RUN. Any ideas?

Hello everyone, I'm Thomas and have been using neon.tech for a while, I'm having some technical issues and I hope you can help me. First, I created the project on 08/16 and I made a mistake by using neon.tech to run realtime continuously, causing my free version to be overcomputed and the project could not get data, and in early September 01 the project was reset to compute but the table section still showed the following error. Hi folks, I was curious about he performance of the neon/serverless driver on vercel vs postgres.js, since based on your blog posts it should be MUCH faster - but in my tests it's usually slower than postgres.js. Do you have any benchmarks for that? (my benchmark is defo not science-grade but it's pretty reproducible. node 22 backend)

Hello, i need help on this issue. I setup user authentication using drizzle, better auth and Neon for my nextjs app. Now, I tried to get user session on the client side so I can display username or email in the header section. I have gotten a couple of errors like “failed to get session” and others in the attached images. Now, I can even login using user credentials or OAuth. I noticed the Neon compute is “suspended”. All my efforts to resolve this since last night hasn’t been successful.

hi guys, I have a problem with neon (i think). in my nextjs app with prisma i have an icon that shows the number of interviews and the conditions to display them (as attached). Everything works in dev, where i have a local postgress db (i am on mac). I deploy it to prod, the icon is not visible and i get the interview.lengt is 0. I check neon, i see interview table with the entry, i also see hypothesis with the entry and still nothing is shown. The only think I can see that is different in prod...

Hello, I am currently on the free plan

Hello, I am currently on the free plan and I can see that the compute usage for my main branch is 12 hours and staging branch is less than 1 hour. However my overall compute usage in my dashboard is showing up as 35 hours for the month of July. Morever, from the metrics I can see that the compute is currently active even though there is no usage on my app. Could you please help? Thanks in advance!...
