I have created my own spigot server with a few plugins. How do i play with my brother without port forwarding it because we're on the same network. But the ip "localhost" doesnt work for him....
How do i see my storage usage in oracle cloud? I think my backups are filling the server.
The server crashed last night after a backup started and i was wondering where you could see a storage breakdown so i can see what the problem is
Proxy/Firewall Question
If my proxy server is a shared minecraft host online, do I still need to firewall it? This is the IP/Proxy Everyone connects to and gets sent to spawn. and the IP/Proxy everyone uses to get from spawn to survival, etc.

Would these specs be enough to run a lightly modded minecraft server with about 50 players max?

1.20.4 Pl3xmap crashing server due to rapid ram consumption, flags issue?
The map is generating in a completely screwed up manner, so I did /pl3xmap resetmap for the offending world and then let it generate, but it consumed so much ram it OOMs the server within a minute or two.

High received packets, 0 fps?
Hello, I'm having problems with a player on my server with severe lag, we dont think its theyre internet. The server has quite a large mod pack and my admin team are not experts but we think received packets may be the problem. The player has around 4000-5000 received packets while others only have around 700. Currently, I'm at a loss and don't want to force the player to test each individual mod or combinations of the mods. We've also tried adding the "XL Packets" mod with the received lowering...
TPS of my Minecraft modded server is dipping hard. What to do?
Hi everyone,
as the title suggests I have huge problems with my Minecraft modded server. I created a mod pack for me and my friends and installed every performance mod to boost server and client performance, but it seems like this didn't a lot for the server. As soon as we play with 4 - 6 ppl, the server starts crumbling and the TPS dips and it's getting almost unplayable.
I already installed spark and let it run to determine the issue, but to be honest I really have no idea what to look for, as I'm fairly new when it comes to creating mod packs and such....
No playerdata after running world in SP
I'm trying to have a world download for my players and I seem to be having an issue with playerdata.
After archiving my world, it seems like the playerdata is nonexistent even though it's clearly in the folder. https://azrian.is-dumb-as.rocks/i/QxnWZN (on the saved world now)

Trouble connecting to personal server (1.21) now with a picture
I have been having trouble loading in my minecraft server that me and my friends play on in 1.21, and it was working fine a day ago but all of the sudden when I went to boot it up, it can't connect. This is the result I get when loading it up in the server.jar gui:

Migrating minecraft server world to a docker container
I am using itzg for Docker and would like to migrate my world into a container. I tried copying the world folder to the container-mapped volume, but it gave me errors and wouldn't start. I checked all the permissions and everything looks correct, but I still can't make it work. Does anyone have any insights? Thanks!
Looking for a Claim/Protection Plugin
I'm looking for a claim plugin that could be configured to allow admins to create and edit claims and assign them to players.
I'm totally new to running a server. I've set up a small server to play with some friends, small enough that I know all the players, but large enough that not all the players know each other. Recently there was an incident where a series of pranks escalated and some people who are very sensitive about their builds got heated. I'd like to set up a claim system so players can protect their builds. That said, I'd like to restrict claim creation and editing to administrators to prevent abuse. Is there already a plugin that can do this? Ideally I'd like to let players own multiple separate claims, and add friends/co-owners to each claim separately, but these aren't big sticking points
