Render distance for players nametag 1.20.1
Hello. Does anyone know a plugin or either way to reduce player name tag render distance? I know I can change player's render distance, but I just need to decrease it for names.
villager death notifications
I’m running 1.21 survival on Paper with the following plugins: CoreProtect, discordSRV, Essentials, Geyser-Spigot, LPC, LuckPerms, ProtocolLib, Vault
Currently, the Console shows a message whenever a villager dies noting the coordinates and cause of death. I am op and I don’t get the message in game. I’d like to get it in game without having to check the console.
What is the plugin or setting or config for me to have these messages sent to myself and my Moderators or Admins who are online? ...
how to block end gateway travel
Im messing around with Worldguard flags trying to find a way to prevent players from travelling through the end gateway unless they are in a permission group that they obtain after killing the dragon. I disabled the enderpearls flag, which works when an enderpearl collides with a block, but it doesnt stop them from working on the end gateway block
Resources for starting up a new public server?
I'm fairly unfamiliar with how to set up a public server. Are there any resources out there that can guide me in the right direction when it comes to what OS to use, what version is best to use for specific preferences (Vanilla, Spigot, etc.), how to secure the server if it's running off of a home system? Trying to be as specific as possible but my breadth of knowledge is extremely limited because I'm new to all of this. Thank you 🙂

Accessing my Crafty panel from another network
As the title says, I want to be able to access my Crafty Controller panel on a different network from where my server is. My server is currently at a relatives house since my router doesn't support port forwarding, and I want to be able to edit manage my servers without having to go to their house every time. How would I go about making this possible?
Unexpected error

Server lag
I've hosted several MC servers over the past few years for myself and two other people. Create A&B, Better MC; and currently ATM8. All of them had off and on issues with lag, but ATM8 has been pretty bad.
All of the servers were in an LXC container on a server with a Xeon E5-2687. Simulation and view distance is currently only 6 chunks; but the server still lags so badly at times to time people out and disconnect them.

Is it possible to use No-IP to redirect a port, e.g. 1234 to 25565?
I am trying to host a Minecraft server for me and my friend for the first time, and I am using a tunnelling service, because I am not able to port forward my router.
I want to redirect the URL of au2.localto.net:3102 to <myurl>.serveminecraft.net:25565, so players can join with <myurl>.serveminecraft.net and automatically be sent to au2.localto.net:3102.
I am wondering if it is possible...
Plugin's commands do not work on one server but work on another
I'm having a really weird issue where after updating a plugin (Custom Nameplates) to work on 1.20.6 the commands do not work. The plugin loads and functions normally but when I try to do a command (for ex: /customnameplates reload) it says unknown command.
The plugin dev and I are stumped because no errors are given and when I gave them a copy of my server they could not reproduce because the plugin worked perfectly fine, it is only happening on the actual server.
Server is on paper 1.20.6...
Server has a huge lag again and again
I ran a Purpur 1.21 Server and it runs totaly fine.
But regularly there is a huge lag and i dont know why i think its because of autosave but when i turn it off the tps is going down.
When anybody knows why there is this weird lag pleas write it
