Does anybody know where I can find a server owner?
So this will come off as a really stupid question, and that's because it is a really stupid question. I have an idea for a server but do not have the financial or legal responsibility to own it because I'm 15. I feel like there is some person out there does and would be willing to try this idea out as I already have a huge foundation built up from the time I tried this idea myself and failed, I just want to know if theres a place where I can find them.
If I install viaversion in velocity do I need to install it in the servers also?
and will is support versions before 1.13?
'unspecified' cause for tps lag
caused by datapacks but i cant even know which one causes it. checked possible reasons on https://misode.github.io/report/, and resorted to timings, doesnt show up despite saying 93% of tick (total doesnt add up). spark says there's 450 markers and 300 item frames present in the server. it's def that but i can't find which cause. tping to the chunk a bunch of those markers are located in only shows me a plains biome. nothing unique

1.8 pvp mechanics for players on new versions on a server running via version
I have a factions server running on 1.8 but allow players to join on versions newer than 1.8 using via version. This does put those players at a disadvantage in pvp since the mechanics are different so I was wondering if there’s any plugin I could use to simulate old pvp for those new players. I’ve found multiple plugins but they are not for 1.8.
Removal of Block Shadows
Bit of an odd one, anyone aware of any plugins or methods of removing block shadows, preferably by regions. Mainly to remove floating spawns from casting shadows on the floor below.

when i click start.bat, it opens a terminal window for a second but thats it. i have the latest version of java and i dont know why it doesnt work.

time stopped after migration of world from Purpur to Fabric
Any idea what is this? I created a new modded server on fabric, but I notice that time doesn't go! If I let it create new world it is fine, but my old migrated world is just paused. I can check it in console via /time query daytime
Server lagging when players join

Hi! Trying to hide a command from users, that they have access to.
I'm using PLHide and had to put the command on the whitelist so they can use it to begin with. But I don't want it to show up when they do /. From what I gather, the send-namespaced setting in the spigot. yml can help with that, but I cannot figure out how.

I'm making a small SMP server for my friends, ~6 people. Some of them have really bad connections, so I was thinking of lowering the
network-compress-threshold so they have a better time. I'm running the server on the OCI Free Tier, so 4 Ampere cores, 16 GiB of RAM.
Is network-compression-threshold=64 fine? I'm running Paper. Thanks in advance! <3...
