Paper vs Fabric Performance

Suppose one wanted to run a 1.20.1 server with no modifications except for performance optimizations. Which would run faster: a Paper server, or a Fabric server with optimization mods like Lithium, Krypton, Starlight, ServerCore, FerriteCore, C2ME, Very Many Players, and so on? (Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've searched on the cached subreddit pages and in this Discord and haven't been able to find an answer that applies to 2023.)...

Reduce CPU load.

As the title says do you guys know any mod or trick or file to edit in order to reduce the load on my server? My server has an Intel Xeon E3-1220 v6 with a clock of 3.6ghz, it isn't really fast but it kinda works. Now and then tho the server has some big stutters especially when someone goes into another dimension or tps himself far away.

Player just joined and can’t see player names or ranks

A player just joined my server and can’t see any of the names and ranks of other players. He shared his screen and I had him join another server and everything was fine on other servers. Anyone encountered this issue? Chat just looks like a stream of text for him with no player names or ranks. I had him disable his optifine and resource packs and no change.

Server out of memory after new world import

For context, I imported a new world onto my server with a Terralith datapack (a datapack that overhauls the worlds terrain), and now the server wont stay up for a minute before crashing.

Faster alternative to dynmap?

Currently i use dynmap for a webmap, but i have this 1:1000 scale earth world that has taken about 3 weeks to render. Is something like BlueMap faster? would it be worth the switch?

I have a list off UUIDs of players who have joined, how do I automatically add to whitelist?

I have a full list of all the UUIDs I want to be on my whitelist, but it seems that whitelist.json doesn't accept UUIDs without a username entry as well. The attached image is my whitelist right now. This does not work, NONE of the whitelisted UUIDs can join. What do I do about this?...

Hyperverse is dead. How does MyWorlds compare performance-wise?

I've been using Hyperverse for the longest time but I watched it slowly die as it was handed off like a Boston hooker to two different development teams, finding its resting place in Incendo, where it is only updated to work for the latest game version, while it hangs in the limbo of a major rewrite that will probably never come. Anyway, I loved this plugin because it's blazing fast and rather lightweight, but when the one maintainer is posting jar files to the Discord and not bothering to update the source on any of the several places it's on, that stage of rigor mortis is a signal to me as a server owner that it's time to jump ship. Multiverse-Core is garbage, I looked for alternatives and found MyWorlds, which is made by bergerkiller who I also use LightCleaner from. How does it compare to Hyperverse / Multiverse-Core? Should I stick with Hyperverse since it's still technically being supported and "If it ain't broke don't fix it"?...
